Re-opening of Holy Trinity for Private Prayer

From Monday 29th June Holy Trinity will be open for private prayer on Mondays and Thursdays 10am until 12noon.  If you are unsure or have a question Stewards will be there to help you.

·       You will be asked to sanitize your hands as you enter and leave.

·       Entry to the church will be through the side door and there will be a one-way system in operation, and you will be asked to maintain social distancing.

·       Only certain benches towards the front of the church will be used for you to sit or kneel. Family groups from one household will be allowed to sit together.

·       The lighting of votive candles will not be possible at this time.

·       Exit from the church will be through the main West door, people who cannot use the steps will be allowed to exit via the side door.

·       Only 20 people will be allowed into the church at one time and there will be a ‘one in, one out system’.  If you are waiting to come into church can I ask that you do so near the entrance to the Community Centre.  This is because social distancing will not possible in the walkway by the side door.

·       Toilet facilities will not be accessible.

You may have heard that Public Masses will be allowed to be celebrated in the near future.  I am sure that there will be restrictions on numbers attending and we are waiting for the guidelines from the Bishops as to how we are going to move forward.  I will keep you informed.

God bless, Fr Paul
