CONFIRMATION PREPARATION

The Parish Confirmation will take place in the Summer Term of 2012 (date yet to be agreed)

Children are normally confirmed during Year 6. (when aged 10 or 11)

Our parish primary school is St Mary's Catholic Primary School, Stanier Street, Newcastle.

Children at St Mary's are prepared for the Sacrament of Confirmation and school and parish work together to ensure a meaningful preparation and celebration of the Sacrament.

If your child is not attending a local Catholic Primary School, there is an opportunity for them to attend Saturday preparation classes at Coolock (part of the convent complex).

Saturday morning classes will start on Saturday 1st October 2011.

Please try and ensure that your child is registered before classes begin, as we cover a lot of important material each week.
